1. Overview

SyncMend repairs steady audio and video sync drift on the user's Windows PC. It does not upload source videos, repaired videos, calibration clips, filenames, or file paths to our servers.

2. Information on your device

The app may store local settings, a random installation identifier, entitlement status, temporary preview files, recovery information, and diagnostic logs. Logs are designed to omit media content and full file paths. This information stays on the device unless the user chooses to send diagnostics.

3. Information we may receive

  • Basic website access data supplied by the hosting service.
  • If PayPal checkout opens, payment status, transaction references, country and limited contact details may be received from the provider. No payment integration is active now.
  • Random installation identifiers and entitlement status.
  • Information a user chooses to include in a support request.

The Windows app does not include optional product analytics. Optional website analytics are described below; they do not receive your local video files.

Support messages

Contact Jessica at mk@syncmend.com. The contact form currently prepares a draft in your email app; it does not submit or store your message on our server. You must send the email yourself. If you send it, your name, email address, subject and message are processed to reply. Support email is hosted through xCloud MailBox. Google Analytics is not loaded on the contact form page, even if you allow analytics elsewhere.

Website analytics and your choice

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, on the HTTPS SyncMend website, not local previews or the contact form page. By default, the Google tag loads with analytics storage denied and may send cookieless measurements to Google for basic measurement and modeling. This still involves sending data to Google; it is not zero collection. There is no automatic consent popup. Use the controls below to turn analytics off entirely or choose Allow analytics cookies.

Google may process website visits and interactions, browser and device information and approximate location. Cookie identifiers are used only if you allow analytics cookies. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, activation codes or local video content. Our initial page-view configuration excludes URL queries and fragments. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization remain denied; Google Signals are disabled in this site's tag configuration.

Your choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies, if allowed, have a maximum lifetime of 180 days without renewal. Use Privacy choices in the footer to return here. Turning analytics off disables collection, removes this site's accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload the tag; it does not delete data already sent. Clearing browser storage, using another browser or letting the choice expire returns to limited measurement without analytics cookies.

Google may process data outside your country. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. Google Analytics property-level retention and data-sharing settings still require operator review. Cookieless measurement is not a guarantee of anonymity or legal compliance; this draft and the applicable regional requirements still need review.
