End User License Agreement

1. License grant

The licensor grants the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use SyncMend for lawful personal or internal business purposes.

2. Editions and entitlements

• Free: calibration, repaired previews, and export of up to the first five minutes.
• Single Export: one successfully completed full-video export. A known failure or cancellation releases the reservation after server confirmation. An unknown outcome requires review; do not assume a credit has already been returned.
• Personal: full exports in the current major version on up to two activated devices.

The current server-mode implementation requires an online check for full exports; a cached status does not authorize offline full exports. Free previews and five-minute exports remain available without paid authorization. PayPal is the planned payment method. Public payments and the production entitlement service are not active yet.

3. Restrictions

Except where law permits, users may not sell, sublicense, rent, redistribute, modify, reverse engineer, defeat entitlement controls, or provide the software as a hosted service. Third-party open-source license rights remain unaffected.

4. Ownership and updates

The user keeps ownership of their media and exports. The licensor and suppliers retain rights in SyncMend, its branding, documentation, and non-user content. A Personal license does not automatically include future paid major versions.

5. Third-party components

Third-party components are licensed under their own notices. Those terms control for the applicable component if they conflict with this agreement.

6. Termination, warranty, and liability

The license ends after a material breach. SyncMend cannot guarantee unsupported, damaged, non-linear, or subjectively ambiguous recordings. Users must keep backups and verify exports. Limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
